It was my priviledge to serve with Denny in Viet Nam many years ago. He was a fine man. I was looking forward to seeing him at the 40th anniversary reunion of the 319th Transportation Co. USAR in August. His presence will be sorely missed. I send my deepest sympaty and my love to you, his family members. Tim R. Campbell

My Sincere Condolences to Denny's loved ones! I was fortunate to have served with Denny in the 1160th TCSkycranes GA ANG unit at Hunter, and always knew if Denny was crewing for us, we were in good hands! I last spoke with Denny at a car show where he was showing his beautiful yellow 'A' Coupe. What a craftsman! God's Peace to you all!

WE, HIS COMRADES OF THE 319TH TRANSPORTATION COMPANY LT TRUCK 5 TON, WILL MISS OUR DENNY LEE. HE WAS A VERY FINE SOLDIER, WHO PERFORMED HIS DUTIES WITH DEDICATION, LOYALTY, COMPETENCE, GOOD HUMOR, AND GOOD SPIRIT. AS A CREW MECHANIC ON THE COMPANY'S 5 TON WRECKER, WHICH MADE MANY CONVOY RUNS IN SOUTH VIETNAM IN 1968-69, HE WAS A WELCOME SIGHT, WHEN HE SHOWED UP, WHEN THERE WERE BREAKDOWNS ON THE ROAD, IN THE MIDST OF OCCASIONAL INTERRUPTIONS BY THE VC AND NVA. WE ARE VERY DISTRESSED AT HIS LOSS TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. WE GRIEVE WITH YOU. PAUL D. TROXLER, LT COL TC; USA RET FORMER CAPTAIN & COMPANY COMMANDER
- Capt Paul D Troxler, SAVANNAH, GA
